Keep On Keepin’ On, Apple!

Man, oh, man is Apple burning up the stock market these days. They just announced a 47% increase in profits in the midst/tailend of what experts say is a recession. Least to say, I’m an Apple fanboy and I couldn’t recommend a Mac computer more than I do these days. Despite that fact, Ryan still can’t muster the courage to switch over from Windows but hopefully with this incredible quarter he will realize they are doing something right in Cupertino.

I know a lot of people that read this blog are on a tight budget but some affiliate marketers out there may need a place to put their money and what better place than the stock market on its way back up? Anyways, for any investors out there, specifically day traders, I’d take a bite out of Apple and invest after the first 30 minutes to an hour of opening for a quick buck. I’m not exactly a day trader but if it weren’t for affiliate marketing, I’d be making a living from investing. I follow the stock market quite a bit and Apple was one of the first investments in November 2008.

If making a quick buck is not what you are after or you aren’t a fan of Apple, then take a look at Activision. Activision was one of my favorites earlier in the year and I got in for a 35% gain that I still hold. I think there’s still room to get in to reap the benefits from a monstrous Christmas quarter that will be fueled by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that is set to release in November. I did a technical analysis on the stock a few weeks ago which I still think looks fantastic and despite the fact that Digg articles have been surfacing about consumer hatred for the CEO raising games prices, they are still payin’ them the big bucks.

I love talking about investing so feel free to comment about what you think or drop me a line!
